Choreographer Tran Ly Ly and designer Cory Tran to be judges for the preliminary round


Mrs Vietnam Thu Huong will accompany with the contestant as a judge, consultant and performing instructor.


In addition, show Manager Phuc Nguyen and other experts are the remaining judges for the competition

A lot of contestants have gathered up from early morning to get their roll numbers, prepare costumes and get their mass body index measured as well as get their photos taken to fulfill their applications. All the contestants have excellent height, they are also relaxed and confident. Some “familiar faces” from some other beauty pageants also participated in this competition in order to find themselves next chances. According to the experts, the Southern region casting has welcomed a lot of potential candidate for the winning crown this year.


Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngoc made it to top 45 - Miss Universe Vietnam 2015. She joins this competition with the willingness to affirm and complete herself.

Most of contestants chose traditional Ao dai to impress judges with the gentle beauty of Vietnamese women.




Some chose comfortable and identical clothes to wear.

The atmosphere of the casting was bustling and fun. After completing the registration form, contestants had time to change clothes and prepare for the next sessions.

At sharp 10am, judges and the contestants all gathered at the casting room. This is an international competition, thus the assessing criteria are different. Judge Tran Ly Ly stated: “We will select the contestants to move on the next rounds based on their body beauty, intelligence, style and confidence. You do not need to keep ourselves under any limitation. As there are girls from around the world, you need to prove that you deserve one spot in the diverse community”.


At the preliminary round, contestants had time to introduce themselves and participate in the talent show. Judges assessed on the live performances and their mass body index to select the most deserve candidates to join the semi-final which will take part on June 14.



Most of contestants were confident, gorgeous and with the support from the judges, the casting was successfully and smoothly run.
